Running Out of Space On Your Roland Module? | TD-17, TD-27, TD-50, TD-50X

If you've loaded a Roland TD-17, TD-27, TD-50 or TD-50X custom kit download from The eDrum Workshop store and you've run into one of these problems -

  • Error messages such as "User Sample Memory Full"
  • Pads or instruments play the wrong sounds
  • Missing sounds or samples
  • New kits won't load properly

...it's probably because your module has run out of User Sample space. When installing custom kits, the settings are loaded first then, if they are included, the samples will be loaded. If your module runs out of sample space during this process, the settings might still be loaded without the samples. This can cause the problems above.

In this video tutorial, Luke explains how you can delete unnecessary samples from your module and use the SD Card Backup features to manage your sample space so you can load more kits.
